Academic Intelligence

Intelligence provides the desire to develop understanding through questioning, critical evaluation, thoughtful reflection and the pursuit of new information and alternative viewpoints.

Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change. - Stephen Hawking

Emotional Intelligence

Emotional intelligence is the key to improving your personal effectiveness. It’s the foundation for dealing with impulses, dealing with stress, and responding versus reacting in a carefully way.

Social Intelligence

Social Intelligence is the ability to get along well with others, and to get them to cooperate with you. Sometimes referred to simplistically as "people skills," it includes an awareness of situations and the social dynamics that govern them.

Professional Development

At SIS we are committed to developing a community of learners not just for our students but for our faculty and staff by offering ongoing professional and youth leadership development activities.

How we do it...

Surefoot International School is based on a holistic conceptualization of education. Our school will serve the whole child and it will foster pupils’ lifelong commitment to intellectual exploration, individual growth, and social responsibility. Our school will embrace, celebrate and benefit from the ethnic, linguistic and socioeconomic diversity of our community by promoting family, school, and community partnerships. Our school will respect, support and empower teachers by providing time for reflection, collaboration and action research focused on student learning.
